Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here. This newsletter is a celebration of cooking and reading, with other musings peppered in as I see fit. My hope is to get you inspired in the kitchen (with seasonal recipes for home cooks) and excited to read (via book recommendations — mostly older ones, because I love old things).
Cooking and reading are two of my non-negotiables (along with walking and water, which probably wouldn’t make for very fun newsletter content). I don’t feel like myself if I don’t spend time in my kitchen, and with a good book, every day. If this newsletter ekes you in that direction, then damn: we both win.
I’ll post a recipe and a book rec monthly (to start); they won’t necessarily be related, though I might get there eventually. Here’s a taste of what to expect:
