hi! i’m emily fiffer. i co-own botanica restaurant in silverlake, los angeles.

i started read, eat, repeat for a few reasons:
a) i’m obsessed with newsletters. as an editor at dailycandy (RIP) for 8 years, i developed a deep affection for inbox notes.
b) i’m a passionate home cook who wants to spread the gospel about seasonal ingredients and hopefully make cooking more approachable (and fun!).
c) i’m an avid reader and basically always want to talk about what’s on my nightstand.
